Reno Balloon Race

The Reno Balloon Race. What good memories it brings. I remember as a child getting up at 3:00 am or at least it felt that way. We got bundled up in warm clothes and went to Dawn Patrol and man what a beautiful site it was and what fun. I wish I was still young enough to experience the wonderful Reno Balloon Race, but I still can as an adult as long as we are staying safe (6 feet and masks please). Anyway it starts on September 10 all the way through the 12. I hope everyone enjoys it. By the way I just learned it is the world's largest Balloon festival. Have fun!

Hiking in Reno

First thing you think of when you think of hiking is "wow that sounds exciting" and you would be right. At the same time you hafta be in somewhat good health if you want to go somewhere like Hunter Creek or Upper Thomas Creek Trail here in Reno, NV. When you decide to go you will immensely enjoy yourself. I have a couple links so you can check it out before you decide to go. Have fun and be safe.

Bike routes

Bike routes around Reno, NV are actually fun to do. The one I like the most is the Truckee River path, especially all the way out to Verdi. It is peaceful and enjoyable. Plus there are multiple places you can stop. The place I like the most is at the end of the path, Crystal Peak park. It's a little place you can setup your fishing pole in multiple places. There are two small lakes and of course the Truckee River. Hope you enjoyed this little bit of information.
